SISo Nepal is committed to preventing and addressing gender-based violence (GBV) through innovative, education-based approaches. Our expertise lies in designing and implementing programs that promote gender equality and empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to challenge harmful norms and behaviors. Leading efforts to prevent and eliminate gender-based violence (GBV) and harmful practices, including Child, Early, and Forced Marriage (CEFM), through education, advocacy, and community-based interventions.

Key initiatives include:

  • Preventing GBV through Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in Schools, equipping students with the understanding of gender equality, consent, and respectful relationships.
  • Integrating Gender-Responsive CSE into the National Curriculum, ensuring long-term, systemic change in attitudes and behaviors related to GBV.
  • Expanding CSE programs as a strategy for GBV prevention, fostering safe, inclusive, and informed communities.

Through these efforts, SISo Nepal works to create a society free from gender-based violence, nad harmful practices where individuals—especially adolescents—are empowered to advocate for their rights and contribute to a more equitable future.
