As a pioneer organization, in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR), with extensive expertise in designing, developing, and implementing programs that empower adolescents and communities, it focuses on ASRHR, family planning, adolescent-friendly health services, ending gender-based violence and harmful practices such as child, early and force marriage, and the intersections of population dynamics, sexual and reproductive health, climate change adaptation, and gender equality.
SISo Nepal has has played key role in shaping national policies, contributing to the development of Nepal’s first National ASRH Program Implementation Guideline along with the ASRH Training Package and enhancing the capacity of the service providers in delivering adolescent friendly ASRH services. Additionally, the organization has developed and implemented quality assessment and certification tools to ensure adolescent-friendly health services align with national and international standards.

SISo Nepal has been working in close collaboration with key government bodies, including the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Family Welfare Division (FWD), National Health Training Center (NHTC) and National Health Education, Information and Communication Center (NHEICC), as well as Provincial Health Training Centers, to strengthen ASRHR programs across Nepal.
